This Privacy Policy applies to SwordLegacyOnlineBot (the “Bot”), a community tool associated with Sword Legacy Online. It describes how information may be processed when you interact with the Bot on Discord and, if enabled, use features connected to Roblox.

Information handling depends on which Bot features are enabled and how the Bot is configured. By using the Bot, you acknowledge this policy. Please do not use the Bot if you do not agree with these practices.

Depending on the features in use, the Bot may process the following categories of information:

Discord account and server information

• Discord user IDs, server IDs, role IDs, and other identifiers needed to run commands or apply server settings.
• Your server nickname or username when displayed or used by a feature.
• Command inputs, interaction data, and configuration values necessary to provide the requested feature.

Roblox information (when connected features are enabled)

• Roblox usernames or user IDs that you provide or that are retrieved to carry out verification, group-ranking, or related features.
• Roblox group membership or rank information when a feature needs it.

Operational and moderation records

• Command errors, timestamps, and basic diagnostic information used to troubleshoot the Bot.
• Moderation actions, reports, verification outcomes, or audit records if the relevant features are enabled.

Message content

The Bot may process message content when a command or enabled feature requires it. Whether command inputs, message content, or related logs are retained depends on the Bot's implementation and configuration. The Bot should only be granted the Discord permissions required for its intended functions.

Information may be used to:

• Respond to commands and provide Bot features requested by members or server administrators.
• Verify account links, check Roblox group membership, or manage roles and ranks when those features are enabled.
• Support moderation, prevent abuse, maintain configuration, and investigate errors or service issues.
• Maintain the security, reliability, and integrity of the Bot.

Information should not be used for unrelated advertising or sold to third parties. Access should be limited to people who need it to operate, maintain, or moderate the service.

Information may be processed in the Bot's runtime environment and stored in its database, logs, or configuration storage where required for a feature. The Bot operator should use reasonable safeguards and restrict access to stored information.

No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. The operator should not retain information that is unnecessary for the Bot's functions and should protect any credentials, tokens, and database access details from public disclosure.

Information may be transmitted to Discord or Roblox when needed to perform features you request. Hosting, database, or monitoring providers may also process limited information if they are used to operate the Bot.

Information should be kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including service operation, security, moderation, or recordkeeping. Retention periods can vary by feature and by the settings used by the server operators.

You may contact the Sword Legacy Online staff to ask what information the Bot holds about you or to request correction or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate security, moderation, or legal reasons. Requests will be reviewed and handled where reasonably possible and as required by applicable law.

To help staff locate relevant records, include your Discord user ID and a description of your request. Never send passwords, authentication tokens, or other secret credentials.

The Bot is not intended for anyone who does not meet the minimum age requirements applicable to Discord, Roblox, or the laws in their location. The operator does not intend to knowingly collect personal information from users who are below the applicable minimum age.

If you believe a user has provided information when they were not permitted to use the relevant service, contact the Sword Legacy Online staff so the matter can be reviewed.

The Bot may interact with third-party platforms to provide its features. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Sword Legacy Online does not control the privacy practices of those services.

SwordLegacyOnlineBot is a community project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Discord Inc. or Roblox Corporation.

The Bot may be used by members in different countries. Depending on where the Bot is hosted and which service providers are used, information may be processed in a country other than your own, where privacy protections may differ. Applicable data-protection laws may give you additional rights.

This Privacy Policy may be revised as the Bot's features or data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when this page was most recently revised. Significant changes should be communicated through an appropriate Sword Legacy Online community channel.
